February is the longest short month of the year. It is, traditionally, very cold and just generally unpleasant. This year has been no exception. So, like many people I anticipated the arrival of the month of March with pleasure. The days are noticeably longer. The sun is similarly stronger. And there’s a change in the air.
The old saw “in like a lamb, out like a lion” came to mind this morning as I woke up to a sunny (if very cold) 1st day of March. Hopefully it’s wrong because the month definitely came in like a lamb. Nevertheless, it’s ALMOST spring and there is hope!
As much as possible, do go out and enjoy the day.
