Sounds and Silence

FINALLY we had a warm, dry morning and the sun rose early in the eastern sky. We are almost at the longest day of the year and the beginning of summer.

I love this time of day (VERY early) when there is little traffic on the roads and few other walkers/bikers/dog walkers etc. using the Nature Trail.

I stopped periodically just to take in the colours, the feeling of peace, the sounds of birds singing, frogs croaking and brief moments of silence.
