Today I wanted to refresh my food photography skills. Although I can bake delicious cookies, cakes, and other goodies, I’m abysmal at decorating them. So, I stopped by a local bakery and picked up a tasty-looking (as well as tasty) chocolate cake to use as my major prop.
The downside to this endeavour is that I really like chocolate.
I thought focussing on a cut piece would be a good idea – right?
A wee nibble to show how tasty it actually is?
Another piece cut to share with my hubby. But still lots to work with for photos….
Or not!
To continue with this exercise I suspect another trip to the shop will be required – and dishwashing.
