’tis the season

It is that time of year – when everything is in a rush and people are stressed emotionally, physically and financially. It shouldn’t be that way. It’s supposed to be a time for celebrating friends, family, and if you believe, various religious holidays and events – all designed to laud peace and goodwill among people.

Beautiful butterfly – a symbol of Hope for all.

I started a project at the end of November called “Advent photo-a Day”. It runs until Dec. 24th – at which point I’ll post an album with all of the images I created to illustrate everything related to the season – hope, beginnings, love, invitations, silence, play, joy and so on. Stick around.

In January I will once again participate in #bloganuary2023 – attempting to post something on my blog daily throughout the month. Some may make sense – others? Who knows? You’ll have to wait and see and judge for yourself.

In the meantime – slow down, breathe deeply and relax. Inhale the scents of the season – evergreen boughs and wreaths, cookies and cakes, breads and special meals – whatever the season means to you!
