Not a one-track mind

Sometimes, when photographing an event, other images present themselves. Between riders at yesterday’s Cross Country Clinic event at the Hampton Riding Centre, I looked around to see what other things might be interesting to photograph.

Growths on a dead log

Things like lichen and other things growing on a dead log can make intriguing images.

So can portions of the log. Textures are always fascinating.

A lone eagle scouting the cross country field looking for lunch.

Or a pair just spectating the event. Opportunities for photos are always around every corner if you open your eyes, look down or look up. Something may be just waiting to be captured in your camera!
