Impressions of Autumn

Thanksgiving Day in New Brunswick started out overcast but quickly became sunny and warm. I got to spend much of the day with Karen as we toured around Kings County.

Beside the Highway outside Sussex

We met up in Hampton and set out to explore the back roads and byways around the Kingston Peninsula, up to Bloomfield and back to Hampton and down to Hammond River. Along the way we found things to share our love of creating photographs.

In the Rotary Nature Park in Hampton we found hoards of ducks enjoying the water but it was hard to find a vista of brightly coloured trees. Karen found some in the canopy.

We wandered through the trails and I saw a neat reflection of a few red(ash) trees in the pond water.

Then we headed down to Riverside park and got a few images from the floating dock.

Then we were off to Hammond River.

It was a wonderful day – lots of talking; lots of laughter; lots of love.

Finally I decided to experiment with some ICM (Intentional Camera Movement). Voilà!
