Yesterday was a quintessential summer day. Family and friends of the Gallaghers gathered at their home on the Washademoak Lake for good food, good fun and camaraderie.
The setting was ideal. Their home overlooks the lake and there were chairs and umbrellas strategically placed for enjoying the location.

Everyone contributed to a tremendous feast. Sausages, hot dogs, burgers, lobster and mussels (thank you, Ron, for keeping them away from me – sorry about the allergy, but keeling over during such a great event would NOT have been a good thing!), incredible salads, rolls and desserts!
Visiting dogs enjoyed the festivities, possibly trying to capitalize on any spilled food!
While the youngest generation played on the lake enjoying the seadoos and warm water, the rest of us relaxed. There was much laughter and merriment to go along with a menu of delectable delights!
It was a wonderful day and I’m so lucky to be included as an honourary family member! Alison and I are “sisters by choice”!
