It’s early winter and today is Christmas Eve. For those who celebrate, it is both a holy night and one that is brimming with anticipation, especially for those with children eagerly awaiting Santa’s arrival.

We’re also just a few days into winter and it is VERY cold here today – a cheery, sunny -24ºC as I write this.

Tonight is truly a “silent night”. Mother Nature uses these nippy winter months to rest and get ready for the busier spring and summer seasons. If we allow ourselves to feel the rhythm of the seasons, we too can, like woodland creatures, huddle to keep warm, tuck ourselves in and rest and reflect. A new year is just around the corner.

Relax and enjoy the quiet tonight and have a wonderful and Merry Christmas tomorrow.
In these pandemic times, be careful. Share love with friends and family but, if necessary, at a distance.
